FRG Can Drive

Free Range Games is 16 years old. We hit a growth spurt a few years ago, making Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, while also helping bring a few other games to market. With keys in hand, we're currently contributing our expertise to a new set of massive games. (More on that later this year.) In the meantime, we thought it might be nice to recollect on a handful of games from our younger years.

Spelldriffter is a hybrid tactical role playing game and deck building game that features the best parts of both!

Spelldrifter combines the puzzle-like positional tactics of a turn-based RPG with the customizability and replayability of a collectible card game. The result: a hybrid, wherein players must juggle the resources at their disposal using both time and space.

With Spelldrifter's innovative Tick System, players are challenged to think of card game strategy in a new light. With each character action, the turns interweave on a single timeline. With mastery of the timeline, players gain great advantage in battle and earn the satisfaction of decisive victory.

MVP Football allows you to play as superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes as you advance through high school, college, and pro football games. Call the plays, throw super charged passes, and stiff arm oncoming defenders in slow motion in this high adrenaline VR football game.

We were proud to partner with CityLights and Patrick Mahomes to deliver a groundbreaking virtual reality experience. We married realistic motion controls for the throws with intense, arcade style action of our favorite old-school football games.

In Rube Goldberg Workshop, you can make tons of different machines from over 100

components. Go from virtual reality to mixed reality and use objects and surfaces in the real world as part of your creations. Bounce basketballs off your ceiling and into a set of drums! Use your kitchen table to set up an epic car stunt jump, equipped with fireworks and all! If you can imagine it, you can build it. Push the boundaries of your imagination in a game made for mixed reality.

In a volatile society pushed to its limits, Abe's latest endeavor is a massive visual leap that aims to break new ground in the Oddworld saga. The new story features intelligent new mechanics and twisted devices capable of explosive deviousness. We're proud to have contributed to game's gorgeous visuals and diabolical puzzles. Free Range Games directed, designed, and created many of the levels for Oddworld: Soulstorm.
